RE: What kinda tires do you use?
Well Dad took the initiative and looked up tires without me even saying anything so when I was home over the weekend he asked if I had heard of the TripleTreads, I said yeah, why. He tells me that he might buy me a set so it looks like those are what I may be going with, I'll probably know for sure next weekend. I'm excited

Just be SURE to have them rotated religiously. Because they are directional tires, for some reason they tend to cup easier than standard tires. I LOVE my TripleTreads on my '05 Malibu. I kid you not, I drove through 2 ft of snow on the roadway with those. They ARE noisier than a lot of other tires, but that is due to the harder compound they use to gain the 80,000 or 85,000 (I can't remember) mile treadlife and the way they keep the tire black. You'll like them though. Just make sure that the company balances your rim too and then the tire on the rim. Being that your car probably hasn't had any curb contact you probably won't have to worry about it.

I just got rid of the factory Goodyear RSA's.
Don't have any traction in wet weather. I never liked them, even on my previous car.
Just got Toyo Versado LX's put on. It was dry today, and they feel great and have great traction on dry pavement so far. Gonna have to wait for a rainy day to see if they live up to their wet traction claims.

I went through the winter with the all-season Goodyear Eagles that came with the car when I bought it last August. The front-wheel drive of our Montes definitely helps in the snow. We didn't get too much snow here this winter, but actually, I can't remember when I last bought a pair of snow tires for my car.
Of course, I imagine you get a bit more snow out in Montana than we get here in NY, lol.
