Default What exactly does low pressure casting mean

I was reading about the rims and they are 1 piece Low Pressure cast. Basically what I got from this are they are light weight rims? So does this mean good or bad? are they more likely to bend? Already bought em so imma use them until theyre junk just wondering so that way if I ever have issues what I should buy after that.

Low pressure casting is common and widely used in wheel manufacturing. Basically, the metal is poured into the mold and allowed to cool. When a wheel is forged the metal is injected into the mold under pressure. A forged wheel is stronger and usually lighter than a wheel manufactured using the low pressure technique. However, a lot of wheels are made using the low pressure technique and failure rate is relatively low. They won't bend any easier than a forged wheel. I don't think you need to worry about having problems unless you bang a curb or something, but that's true about any wheel no matter what technique was used to manufacture it.

Thank you very much, I'd been reading up on the method on which it is made and still couldnt make the judgement myself because I'm pretty lacking in the knowledge of that are. I dont plan to be ramming into curbs or anything but everythings unpredictible. thanks a ton.
