It doesn't leak air yet but I don't know how long its been there. I do drive about 35 mi highway to work and back from work. I just don't know if they were scaring me and trying to sell me a tire. Also don't want a blow out on the highway.

Since they are practically new tires they suggest to get them warranty by them even if I didn't get them from Firestone. I got them from Tirerack. Since my tires fall under their brand I'm able to get road hazard warranty. I'm might get that to get some peace of mind.

with that amount of driving you should get the road hazard done, they'll give you a percentage off the purchase of a new tire if the tire is past so many miles, it depends on the company.

I would get it replaces as soon as possible to. If you have to drive it to the tire store i would rotate it to the back so your not putting additional pressure on it by turning. Also a blowout on the rear is a lot easier to control and bring to a stop IMO

I wouldn't bother patching it. You WILL need a new tire soon anyway, might as well just do it now.

If you buy tires buy them in at least pairs. If you keep getting one at a time then it will continue like that. If you buy in pairs with warantee then you at least are buying them half as often. I usually just get all 4. Always someone wanting to buy old tires.

depending on how new it is you could just replace the single tire.

That depends. If the tires are new enough (and I'm betting kingreyna's are, as he got them right around fall), he could probably get away with just replacing the one for a matched tire.

I've replaced one tire on a half worn set of 4 tires, then when it's time for the other 3 tires to get replaced, I just replace all four (in those rare times, I had a couple times that the odd ball I had to replace early was still good and I held on to it as a spare, it paid off too).

Default another tire issue...... does it look bad?

I found this yesterday when I checked my tire pressure. I doubt it's fixable, but is it dangerous or nothing to worry about? Let me know what all of you think.... thanks
