Tire Help With Stock 17s

My buddie has a Set of brand new 225/60/17R all seasons.
Would those tires Fit on my Stock 235/5517R?

I would say yes.

Your buddy's tires are .4" taller. Your speedometer reads 60mph with your buddy's tires on your doing 61. That's pretty close.
