Default Suspension or worse?

my monte was purchased with a bent strut/damaged strut tower. I replaced the strut and straightened the top of the tower. When I drove it down the road it handled much better less wobble and curve. I know I will need an alignment and possibly have to have the shop tweak the tower some more but heres the big question when I accelerate the wobble/shake gets much worse a friend told me possibly bent cv axle or something like that. What are your thoughts?

Were the tie rods replaced also. When I replaced my struts I went ahead and did both tie rods and when I drove it to the shop it was nearly undriveable. Once alignment was done everything was OK. If nothing looks bad maybe it just needs an alignment.
