I have a set of the Speedbuilt bars, which are very similar to the BMR strut tower braces (if you look at silverbullits thread, there is a set of black Speedbuilt stb's on one of the cars. also if you check pfyc, the Speedbuilt braces are their competitors brand with the smaller threaded rod section)....

Anyways they fit really well, and work great. The bmr is the same pattern, but the bar doesn't taper at the end and uses slightly bigger hardware.

Both the BMR set and the Speedbuilt stb's are adjustable so you can just turn the threaded rod until the bar is exactly the right length.

If I was gutting the car and dedicating it to autocross, then I'd consider installing something like that, but otherwise it looks like it would just be in the way and would visually stick out too much.

The nice thing about the available strut tower braces for our cars is that they attach to the strut towers, which are either under the hood or are at the top of the trunk. That way they are out of the way, and don't look out of place.

I'm not a suspension expert or anything, but it seems like it would be more effective to have the strut towers connected with a brace than it would to have additional bracing in the middle of the body too.

That floor thing is weird. The only thing I could see it doing would be adding strength against a side impact. Like a safety thing. Kind of a neat idea (better than anything I invented) but I can't see anyone getting rich selling those. I pass
