Strange clunking noise when turning

still found nothing

hmm not sure if the sway bar links need replacing or not
the car is jacked up on the right side*

My fender well intake was hitting against something or something like that. I just removed it and put back on my stock airbox and no longer hear that clunking sound. dunno if thats your case...

nope i doubt it. it's not only the clunking noise. i can feel it on the steering wheel so it has to be suspension related

nope, just the clunking i mean its not really loud and obnoxious clunking. but it can be heard and its kinda annoying :p im kinda used to it now though lol

I had this issue and it was the braces from the strut tower to the radiator support. Tighten them down REAL good. After I tightened mine the noise went away.

IIRC a lack of lubrication of the steering shaft causes a clunking/thumping sound. Maybe your steering shaft needs to be lubed?

Edit: After looking at the pic you posted I would replace the sway bar bushings and links. They may/may not be causing the noise, but are definitely worn. It looks like the upper bushing is missing.

how do i lube the steering wheel shaft lol? :p

yea i may look into replacing the whole sway bar and end links
