Well, ok then. I usually don't think about those things until after. After I got it all done I looked at the wire right in front and that's when I thought, "boy, good thing I didn't &$(# that up!

Factory sway bars (unless you get the GMPP one) are hollow, so they can. Mine cracked completely right before the bushing on the passenger side after I hit a rough patch in the road last winter, and I got a rubbing grinding noise from the 2 pieces of metal rubbing.

so i didnt find the culprit of the clunking
i guess i'll just deal with it for now :p

Also did the seafoam treatment (followed mikes method) and it only smoked for about a minute or two, guess my engine wasn't that dirty?

Good!

Now change your spark plugs, just to be on the safe side.
I put seafoam in the gas every couple of months.

Be sure to keep us updated! Edit: Not sure that its the sway bar and i doubt its the plugs or wires. If we are talking about the same clunk then it starts off with a low clunk but as time passes it gets louder. Also I need to change my shift solenoid thing bc my car shifts hard and when it does it sometimes clunks. I still think its the shocks or struts or something from that area...

Did you jack up the front and see if there was any play in the wheels?
