I was wondering why my Dale Jr. car doesn't have one of these when almost every other monte I see has one? Did they quit putting them on in 2004?

also, do they make a lot of difference on the Monte's? I put one on my 92 Cavalier RS that I took off of a Z24 and I really didn't notice any difference. Thanks.

I thought your edition had them 4-Sure...

I think the STP adds alot to the handling of a Monte Carlo or
any vehicle...

I would check with who your purchased your Monte Carlo From....Keep us updated, and check back on your thread to see what other member's with your Model post...

The STB bolts on with the existing hardware on the car. I'm not sure about 04 but they definitely stopped putting them on with the 05s.

 

My 04 Dale Jr Ed did not come with one from the factory.

 

don't know what year, but not all of them had them. I believe 02 or 03 they stoped

 

I checked mine and it does not have holes for the STB. I'm not sure why they didn't put one on this car especially since it has the FE4 suspension.

I would personally recommend the BMR strut tower braces. Much beefier and unlike all the other options out there they are adjustable.
