well im looking to uprading to a big block 454.right now its got the old tired 350 in it.i know im goin to need some stiffer springs up front.now im tight on money and hotchkis wants to much for theirs.so would a 70-72 chevelle springs that came with a factory bbc fir/work?and how can you tell the difference from one sbc spring to a bbc spring if their in a pile?are there #'s somewhere on them?is it visually different?im asking because about a hr or so away from me a guy have 2 70 montes and 2 chevelles hes parting out.
