Default Rough Suspension

I replaced the rear struts, mounts and coils about 3-4 months ago , however , i still feel dang near every crack and bump in the roads , when i hit a bump , the car will shake side to side just a little bit and i can hear some kind of rattling from the mount area in the trunk .. i replaced the front struts and mounts last year but i had issues with the struts so i put the new mounts on the old struts untill i recieved the oem's i had to order and wait a month or two , i know i shouldnt of but i really had no choice .. the front is just about as bad .. with new struts all around and new mounts my ride should be cousiony and soft , but its rough and rattely .. any input ?

STOP DRIVEING OVER ALL THE BUMPS!

JUST KIDDING.....MY 5TH GEN IS THE Z34 MODEL....WHICH HAS A STIFFER SUSPENSION PACKAGE...

HOW DOES IT RIDE ON THE HIGH WAY?
WHAT KIND OF TIRES DO YOU HAVE? WHATS YOUR TIRE PRESSURES?
ARE YOU USEING AFTER MARKET RIMS? (OVERSIZE)

WHAT MODEL IS IT? ARE THEY THE CORRECT SUSPENSION PARTS FOR YOUR VEHICLE?

THERES SO MANY VARIABLES....TRY CHECKING ALL THE LINKS,GROMITS,SWAYBARS ETC....FOR YOUR RATTLES AND SHAKES

All caps is super hard to read lol it feels like you're yelling at the reader, just made it a little easier to read for ya

How does it ride on the highway?
What kind of tires do you have, what is the tire pressure?
Do you have aftermarket rims? (above 18"?)

And check all the bushings basically

has factory rims , firestone champion hr 16's about a year and a half old , still has good tread i keep the psi around 40 warm weather / 36 cold weather .. i will put the car in the air and check the rest of the parts , trailing arms and link rods etc: .. and there is no way possible i could not drive over bumps in the road .. northeast ohio roads are JACKED up ! i usually drive the speed limit on the highway , sometimes about 5 over

Try lowering your tire pressure down to around 32 in the front and 30 in the back. No need for any more pressure than that. Should make the ride a little less harsh.

Like the others have said, I would check the rest of the suspension components for worn out bushings. Also, check where the trailing arms mount to the body to make sure the mount isnt rusted out.

I'll give you that. I've already broken my front sway bar from our crappy roads. I've got to do more investigating because I know I broke something else. I've got a squeaking while turning an hitting bumps, probably broke sethig else falling in all the potholes.

the noise is your deck moving around hitting the window and plastic on the sides my sonys cause it too lol. now the skipping is just the way the suspension is mine is an ls and the back end is pretty stiff and jitters going fast over bumps in corners if you go the speed limit it doesnt happen mine is all orignal suspension at 158k so just get used to it or get a stiffer anti rollbar
