rim spacers

Default rim spacers

does anybody have rim spacers on their monte?looking to get some particullary for the rear any coments on them?

I dont but i have stock wheels on mine
I have knowen some folks to have them on the cars but they seemed to do ok with them
Why are you needing a spcer?

I do but only for the front because the front rims will rub on my brake pad if I dont. I havea 06 Monte.

that means the rims is not the right one for that car, i'd take them back to where you bought them before i put spacers on it...but spacers dont hurt anything and work fairly well...all you need is probably like 1/8" to 1/4" or so

It's not so much that it's the wrong wheel for the car, with all the car makers gowing with oversized calipers they are starting to hit on the drop center on lots of wheels. You are correct that spacers don't hurt any thing but don't look for them at Discount Tire because 99% of them won't sell them because they are told not to. You can always hit the caliper with a grinder, lots of people do it but I wouldn't do it on mine.
