Replacing pads and rotors, any tips?

Well, today I was feeling back to normal. I passed one kidney stone and who knows when the other one will come down.
I did replace all of my brakes and rotors today and just got done burnishing the pads a little while ago. I also replaced all of my brake fluid and the car stops great with no noise.
I could have gone a while longer without doing the brakes as after I took everything apart, the pads still had some life to them. The rear rotors had a few grooves in them and the fronts felt slightly warped whenever you stopped so it was probably a good thing I changed them out. So, something else I won't have to do for awhile. Now I'm going to relax.
