Sorry gang, I forgot to update this. The brakes are done and working great.

To get that last rotor off, oddly the way my father and I left it, I ended up giving it a couple of good whacks with the mini-sledge and the rotor fell right off as it should have in the first place.

need to replace rear rotors on wifes 1998 monte carlo can't seem to find write socket to remove the calipers used about every size in my tool box

I know it's a different generation but I'm pretty sure on my '03 it was a 16mm wrench. Don't know if that would have changed?
