Project: Polished Fender braces
Thanks Lou
Lol I couldnt find pieces this big at lowes or home depot :p
And thanks man
I need some more sand paper though!

Very cool idea! I had this idea and was even in Lowe's with a large piece of this ready to check out a few days ago... then something changed. I picked up some sand paper and ditched the aluminum piece and then went crazy on my existing cross braces
Should be able to get an awesome mirror finish out of those and they're flat so they'll look super clean in your engine bay
Best of luck, I'm going to keep my eye on this thread

The stock diagonals were clearly done as cheap as possible, just "crimp" the ends. I almost wish when I got mine powder coated that I would have had the ends welded to "seal" them and a little touch up with a dremel to round the edges.
Too much work.
Too much work.
time for a change

mines are all rusted at the ends

Damn these things look TOUGH!
LOL
the passenger side i kinda screwed up on
at the bottom the tip is kinda offset on the angles
but it still looks alright i guess
this is all i got done today since its been raining on and off all day lol
