Default oewheelsllc.com question

I just found out that I have a bent wheel on my 2004 Dale Jr. One of the local JY's can get a used one for $225 but who knows what kind of shape its in. They said a new rim would be $800.

Has anyone bought rims from the above website and if so, what do you think of the quality of these rims. They have wheels that look to be identical to my factory rims. I called them and I can get one wheel shipped for $189. They have the full set for $395 + 89 for shipping.

This will probably be my cheapest option but I want something that is as close to original as possible. Thanks for any info or if you some other place I might be able to get a rim. Thanks.

you could see if moradpartscompany.com has one.

How bad is it? Companies CAN fix a bent rim.

Thanks for the link, I will check it out. Its bent pretty bad. They showed me it running on the balancer and it was pretty wavy in one area. The original owner did tell me that they ran the car off the road one time so I'm sure that is where it got bent.

I just don't want you to rush to buy an aftermarket one when you own the limited edition Monte. This way you can keep the correct stock on the car.

Don't quote me, but I was looking into buying wheels at one point from oewheelsllc.com as well. It appears these are the same wheels the factory uses. But again, don't quote me.
For checking salvage yards, Chibi's place is definately a great place to check out. Also, try using www.car-parts.com, a lot of junk yards register parts there. Also eBay is another good place to give a shot....

I checked out the Morad website and they didn't have anything. Ebay had a replica but said it was a chrome alloy and not aluminum but since I don't know crap about wheels, chrome alloy could mean aluminum.

I ended up buying the set from oewheels. I'm not too worried about buying a replica because I know that Chevrolet does not make these wheels themselves and had some company make them for them. It could have been oewheels for all I know.

My original wheels are not in the best shape anyway but I will keep them anyway. When I get them, I will let you guys know how they compare to the stock ones. Thanks for all the help.

The prices are pretty good, especially considering what they wanted for a used rim. The ebay wheel was cheaper for one wheel shipped but I wasn't sure what Chrome alloy is compared to aluminum.

I'm also considering putting the same JR Monte wheels on my car that you have. I really hope the quality is good, did they let you know how long it will take to deliver them? I'm really looking forward to your opinion on them! keep us posted, thanks Wayne.

The wheels have a structual lifetime warranty and a one year warranty on the finish so I guess that is good. I will be interested to see how close the finish is to the factory wheel. The description says it has two coats of clearcoat on them.

They gave me a deal on the express shipping so I went that route and they should be here the beginning of next week. Without the express shipping, it was going to be 10-15 business days. I'll keep everyone posted and will probably post some pictures even though my camera does not take the greatest pictures.
