Default Nose down??

so i just had some work done on my 04 ss part of which was the installation of KYB GR2 struts, ZZP lowering springs (i think they are actually ssc springs) and new top mounts but now the front looks alot lower than the rear. i did notice that my stock washers were re-used instead of the new anti pogo ones but this shouldnt change the ride height right? so any ideas or is this normal on our cars? i will post a pic tomorrow

Was the work JUST done? Let the springs settle before you see if something is wrong.

The front has the weight of the engine... the back doesn't

I had the same thing happen to me with your identical setup. The rear never settled on mine. The rear looked stock while the front was lowered. I removed them a couple of months later. I also didn't like how it felt which was a big disappointment.

Good luck. Hopefully they will settle.

If not there must be something wrong with a KYB GR2 and ZZp sping combo.

i hope so i have driven it about 10 miles and still not settled plus it now has a shutter under moderate to hard acceleratio, is this the vibration people usually get and fix with shorter dog bones? the car did sit all winter so i figure its either the drop or the sitting that is causin the shutter any thoughts?

Well remember to get an alignment afterwards and you will need some caber bolts. The rears didn't need it on mine but the front did. I have the shorter dogbones and 2 camber bolts I could sell you cheap. I don't need mine anymore.

I think the shorter dogbones do reduce the vibrations if I recall. I had them installed also on mine.

the alignment was done at the shop right after they installed the springs and did the engine work and they test drove it but only a short distance on city streets to make sure there were no leaks
