I find it funny people with varied experiences with tires. It's all good. Like I said, if you are impressed with a brand, stick with them. I personally have had good experiences with Good Year, Kelly, Cyclones and a couple other brands.

I had a BAD experience with a type of BF Goodrich tire (was a HORRIBLE tire, good for about 1 year or less, after that the tread still looked good but they did NOT handle cold and snow). Also the ones currently on my Grand Am are I believe StarFires, they are OK, but they are NOT as good as the Kelly's, Cyclone's or Good Year tires I've ran on that car.

OH! Since you hooked him up with all 4 tires, having the alignment checked too??

I have firestones on my horizon and havent had too much of an issue, the heavy front end causes the fronts to wear out faster but i dont really think thats the fault of the tire. My monte has Kelly Chargers (no idea what kind of tire, all season, summer etc..) And i have some old worn out good year tires on the back which seem to be run flats. As even with 0 psi they're still inflated and driveable

Well, got the tires on. I drove the car to the shop to have it done. After everything was done, the car sure rides "softer" if you will. AND handles better !!

It has rained ALL DAY, and the old tires wanted to hydro-plane. These do not !!!!

My son hasn't seen them yet. He will see them tomorrow.

I've always had good luck with cooper. They're in the running with riken raptors and a couple others when i'm ready for some new shoes. Shouldn't have a tire related problem for a good while. Good work Santa!

I have the same tires on my monte and I think I may get another set in the spring. I was gonna go with the Michelin hydro-edge but I may save the money and get the coopers.
