Mel, for the 06+ look at SSC/Canuck Motorsports. That's where I got my lowering springs from. 1.8" front drop, 1.5" rear drop. The set cost me $179.95, part #245221. I actually ordered directly from SSC but they are the same company as CM; basically two different divisions. Vogtland also has springs available.

Their "store" page has all the applications for both domestic and import. The Monte Carlos are all the way at the bottom of the Chevrolet section.

I'm also running SSC springs, but with the stock struts. If you install the springs properly, install camber bolts, and have the car aligned, you won't have any you won't have any mechanical issues.
