Default Lowering my 04 with 20" wheels. Whats the best?

I just bought all brand new struts and springs 3 years ago but now that someone has told me i can just put in lowering springs im curious what is the best lowering spring that looks the best, performs the best, and will work the best with my 20 inch wheels. Please share your opinions with me on what springs i should look into

One of the seventh generation owners used this website called CanuckMotorsports.com and they had some good applications for our generation. now for good springs, i have heard that SSC, Ebach (if you can find them), or try this company called Vogstand, i think that is what they are called...

I wouldn't put lowering springs on your stock struts with a 20" tire. You will probably need to get a stronger strut

SSC is Canuck Motorsports, they're the same company. Vogtland does have a spring available as well but their application page states they're only for model years 99-03. Vogtland springs will lower about 0.5" less than CM's springs so it's all about how much of a drop you want. I have CM's on mine so that'll give you an idea of ride height. I don't know what kind of struts you currently have, or how many miles are on them, but you're going to want a good set of struts for lowering. I went with Bilstein HD's; expensive but a high quality strut. I'd also recommended not installing lowering springs on an old(er) strut. I've lowered both my 03 and 06 and each time I've installed the lowering springs while replacing the original set of struts. As for fitment with the 20's, I don't think it should be a problem as long as the overall tire diameter is the same as the factory tires.

Canuck Motorsports website: Home - Canuck Motorsports Online Store: Car Truck SUV lowering lift kits.

Vogtland North America website: .:: Vogtland North America - Quality Performance Lowering suspension ::.
