i just want to ask is how many still have there stock rims. with there new rim and tire combo. i am thinking on geting new rims but i dont want to get rid of my stock rims because the tires on them only have 1200 miles on them and if some thing happends to the new tires iwill have the stock rims to put on till i get new tires for the new rims that i have. what i am asking is it a bad thing in a opinion or a good thing

I still have my stock rims 16" in a stack in the garage (I should sell them at some point ) but I have the stock rims 17"/ off a 2005 on the car now

 

i still got my stock rims ony my car dont like them but havent had the funds to afford new rims i havent had mone for a winter yet but it wont be driven in winter

 

this is what i was thinking. when i have the funds for a different set of rims and tires i would keep the original set for spares incase i dont have the funds to get new tires for the new rims. not just that i would use one of the original rims as a spare tire as in a full size rim incase of a flat.i just wanted to get some ideas and some opinions if it was a good idea or just some opinions
