I hate that it's lower in back than in front!!!
Every 00 and up Monte I see with rims is squatting in the back so I looked at mine and it's the same. I like the squatting look on 64-65 Mustangs, but that's it. Once I slap on my dubs I am not gonna like the squat it's got so can I lower the front only to get rid of this? What would be a decent setup to solve this problem? Would it be necessary to go with aftermarket shocks for such a mild drop? What springs should I go with? Lowering it all the way around really isn't an option because I have a family and we all load up in the Monte from time to time so I don't want the headache of rubbing that will likely come with lowering it, even if it's only an issue when the car is fully loaded.

i would recomend just going with a set of eibach springs. i believe it lowers the front .9 and the back .7 so it balances out that sagging look. and yes, most likely you would need to swap the struts (probably to kyb gr-2's). you're changing the geometry of you're suspension, so you're struts will need to be a little stiffer.

rims shouldn't make the vehicle change its stance front to back, is it just that almost everyone that has rims has big stereos too??? maybe thats all thats causing the back to go like that
cuz rims should do that
cuz rims should do that

RE: I hate that it's lower in back than in front!!!
I have an 02 with the Eibach springs and KYB struts. I have 8.5 x 17 rims and 255-45 tires. There is some minor rubbing in the back when I hit a pretty good bump, and it does rub worse with passengers in the back. It's not bad enough for me to worry about, but I do slow down if I can before hitting a bump and especially railroad tracks. I would think twice before going with dubs. You can go to my profile to see pics of the car. You might think about just lowering the front if you want that look.

I have other pics, like the car sitting on level ground, and more close ups of the wheels, brakes, and tires. If you would like to see them I'll see if someone will post them for me cuz I don't know how to do that.
