How wide wheels can i do?
hey guys some of you's here are running 19's n 20's, i wanted to know what is the widest 20 inch wheels i can run? could i run a 20x8.5 up front or has to be an 8in wide max? that with either a positive or zero offset. also what is the widest i can run in the back? looking to see what the widest i can do with out rubbing.. anything i can do to force a 10 inch wide with negative 45 or so offset and wheel spacers but i don't want it to stick out beyond the width of the body? and finally could i use a 35 or 40 series tire with 20's?
PS. my car will be lowered about 2 inches all around.

With the set up you want to run. 20x8.5 lowered 2" is capable. However, rolled fenders are a must and you might have to run a slightly skinnier tire. You might rub also when you have passengers in the rear.
But 8.5 is the widest you can fit comfortably.

okay so some here had gone as far as 9 inch wide all around, for that type of set up do i need a camber kit installed on the front? and if i did I'm having no luck finding any anyways....
also the back wheels, i understand i have to roll the fender that's obvious but is 9 inch wide really my limit with out rubbing or having the wheel flare out too much beyond the quarter panel wheel well

Camber kit isn't going to help you with fitment on these cars. All that does is help in the alignment process. But yes 9" is the widest you can go. I would be very careful with going any wider. But typical with the offset we need for our cars, your going to have a hard time finding a 9" wheel anyways. Stick with the 8.5 for the widest wheel.

@ 7801Monteman okay i'll take you're advice on the that matter then, sorry to keep bugging you but how wide of a tire could i run in the back if i do 8.5 all around (or you're recommendation on tire sizes for front and wider tires for the back), the look i'm trying to go for is either a wide tire in the back or a more meaty tire in the back, giving it the look of being more a RWD car than an FWD car,
