RE: how to Wash rims?
i know they make a cleaner for rims like those, my dad has them on his 56 chevy, his are 100 spoke rims
its just a spray on let drip off cleaner...not too sure what its called, maybe someone else knows, but i know there is something out there for them...
pain in the but to clean those rims any other way

Just bump on down to your local Autozone or whatever autoparts chain you have and show the salesman your rims. They should do a pretty decent job of matching you up with the proper chemicals and accesories.

Are they just dirty or are they corroded as well? Give one a scratch and find out. I tried to refinish the original wheels ony my truck. Scrubbing for hours with an array of different cleaners did no good. The clear coat on the metal had been worn away for quite some time and all the scrubbing in the world would do no good. The look like stainless steel. Don't seem to be chromed.
