Default Gen 2 SSC coil springs

Anybody have these on their Monte? I was browsing the ZZP site and ran into these for quite a bit lower than the Eibach springs so I decided to do some research and found that the GP guys and even quite a few MC guys like these over Eibach. Mainly because of the ride comfort, everyone who had experience with these and the Eibach springs said the SSC coils ride more like stock and don't have nearly as much of the pogo effect as them either. I don't usually buy things as quick as I did here but after reading as many good posts as I did about these springs and their ride comfort, I decided to spring for them (pun intended) and the anti pogo washers from ZZP. I'll post up some pics as soon as I get them isntalled.

damn, zzp's website shows my order has been "in process" since 3.11.07

That's one hell of a process!!

In comparison, I ordered a mouse and sound card off amazon.com on 3.10.07, the items shipped 3.13.07 and I rcvd them yesterday and didn't pay a dime for shipping.

It seems these two have their roles reversed cause you'd think the company with which you are paying for shipping would expedite your order while the one whose giving you free shipping would be the one to take their time. Oh well, I guess I need to call them and see what's up cause this is just crazy.

We have a winner!

Been on backorder since the day the order was placed, even though the website shows them as being "in stock" even to this day. I'm still waiting for notification of shipment and getting more and more agitated as the days go by.

are you planning to put some struts on with the springs on Use the stock set? Reason i ask KYB is saying that the seals will blow out in average a yr if you put lowering springs on it!! Have you seen any struts that come a tad shorterI know there are adjustables but i havn't seen any for the 01 ss?

the KYB AGX are adjustable

I am gonna use the non-adjustable GR-2 shocks on mine, the AGX are just too damned expensive.

I have the Eibach's and KYB non-adjustable struts, along with SLP sway bars. No pogo'ing, no problem with the KYB's after 2 years and 40,000 miles. I am going to go with the AGX's pretty soon because of the milage on the struts.

Thats awesome that your Monte is holding strong with that suspension setup that is what i have been looking into getting did you replace your strut mounts?..I think i got bogus info from tire rack on theKYB struts blowing seals!! Gladto hear yours are holding strong!! I calledKYB techassistance direct that there struts will work on a spring drop up to 1.5 inch spring drop vs OEM springs! But yours are proof that they do work
Do you know anyone who has installed the AGX's on a2000-05 monte carlo?
