I have my new strut inserts (shocks) for my 1998 monte carlo z34 but i need help on how to get the strut cartrige out of trhe houseing? without using a strut tool. If anyone could share some insite on how to get the cartrige out that would be great thankyou!!

 

Unfortunately,
You definitely need the tool to change out the cartridges.
Also be sure... There's 50,ounces in the strut once you replace it.
I recently did mine...
Be sure to also to put everything exactly back like it was...during reassembly!
