Default brake pad sticking

I just put new pads and rotors on my 02 monte. I took it for a test drive and one wheel has a noise that sounds like maybe the pads are rubbing the rotor without applying the brakes. Any ideas as to what I did wrong on that one wheel? I cleaned the slides and greased them when I did the brakes.

What kind of rotors did you put on? Check around for metal shavings. The rotor might not be sitting perfect

Did you grease the sliders? They sometimes get rusty and can hang up a caliper.

yep greased everything. I think it may be the e-brake on the left rear. Is there any adjustment on the e-brake?

I have a similar problem with my brakes on my 97 monte but it doesn't make noise. I will find that my breaks are stuck while I'm driving and I have to actually pull up on the pedal to un'stick' my breaks. I don't know what's wrong and this just started happening a few months back.

i think that I'll try bleeding the system and see if that helps.

if u only changed ur front pads and rotors then it cant be ur e brake cause ur e brake is in the rears but u might of bought to big of rotors. are ur caliper brackets rusty where the pad sits and slides on? if so sand the contact area wit a soft sand paper and use some silglyde and dont forget the bridge pins
