I have a 1984 monte carlo that I bought from a dude a couple weeks ago. I noticed that the front of the car seems to dip a little so I called him and told him. He said that he put a 350 in there replacing the original 305. My question is that is a 350 that much heavyer that a 305 to where i have to change the suspension.

It's the same engine. The front springs get weak, and they don't sit real high anyways.

Weak springs were a very common problem on the 80's rear drive cars, especially the rears, change em up for a new set of Moogs and a new set of shocks and you should be good to go. Check the ball joints etc. while your in there. The 305 and 350 are within a couple of lbs. of each other as stated earlier in the thread.
