Default Falken Tires

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with Falken tires. And if anyone has any opinions about the Falken Sincera SN-828. This tire received good reviews from consumers and I am thinking about buying a set. My current tires are Altimax and are worn out and really bad in any kind of snow. The Falkens are cheap and they are not the most high performance tire out there but I need something that is good in the majority of all seasons. Thanks for any replies.

i had a similar set and they didn't last that long. good performance, just too soft for everyday use.

Thanks for the reply jimbo7. Did the overall tread just wear down quickly or did the tires cup or something of that nature?

that's funny i drove on mine for 2 years and still have lot of tread left. still have them too. maybe you were doing lot of burn out or tires wasn't correctly balance or alignment??

I had Flaken tires on my Cavalier in the front...they sucked IMO (I only say this because tread life stunk, otherwise they were good tires).

I got about 25,000 miles out of them, and they were bald...

I suggest the Fuzion HRI if you are looking for a cheaper tire, with good qualities. I also had these on my Cavalier, and I had 50,000 miles on them before they were completly bald.

Here is a link to the Fuzions for your car:

these were on a lumina, so no burn outs for me lol. they just wore out quicker than a normal set of passenger tires. they were a softer compound so it was gonna happen.

Thanks to all for their input, greatly appreciated. I'm going to take a chance on the Falkens even though the consensus says they wear out pretty quick. I say this becuase my Monte is starting to develop quite a few problems and is beginning to nickel and dime me. Maybe I could find a late model SS with the V8... But for now I just need good rubber for an inspection sticker and to run on for a while. Thanks again to all!

i actually had those on my contour when i had it(R.I.P.) but they were not passanger tires. the ones i had lasted forever but i kept getting small leaks in them that had to get plugged all the time. but mine lasted about 65k under HEAVY driving
