Default Drilled/Slotted rotors on gravel?

I have been on the lookout for rims for my monte lately but i just realised that with new rims, there will be more of the rotors visible..so i'm goin to need new rotors cuz mine are solid rust. I was thinkin about getting drilled/ slotted rotors but then someone brought up a good point...since i live on a mile of gravel, will gravel get wedged in the holes in the rotor n tear at the brake pad?? Whats ur guys' opinions & advice?

That seems highly unlikely.. Like I've never even heard of it lol

Even if it did manage to wedge itself in there rock is brittle compared to the material of the rotors and pads. I feel like the pebble would get broken to bits the first braking.. just my opinion though!

no worries rocks wont get in there, and the rocks are softer than the rotor if they do.

I dont think it will be an issue. The holes are pretty small and like justin said the rock would crumble under the brake pressure
