Default Better ride !

So I have 20 inch rims with my 06 ls, the ride is pretty smooth but I want to smooth it out better. I wanna lower it back down to factory, any recommendations from those who have 20 inch rims? Or even 18s. I still have factory struts & tie rods. I can post a pic later to show how high she is.

Did you lift it?

You should be able to run 20s on the stock setup as long as the tires aren't high

I can and it fits perfectly, no rub or anything, I just wish it was a tad bit smoother driving. Granted my tires have plenty of meat on them, some ppl even think I ride with 18s, but I was wondering if one, I could lower it for the agressive look and two, would the lowering springs bring a tad smoother ride considering they are after market springs? I still gotta post my pics of my car too...remind me later chibi ! =p

Lowering your car is going to make the ride stiffer. Because the car is lower, the springs need to be stiffer so the car doesn't travel as much.

Also the less tire and more rim you have the more of the road you feel. Both things you are talking about make for a sweet look but hard ride.

"too much rim make the ride too hard!" i roll on 20s the only time i notice a rougher ride is when i hit a pot hole... On a smooth road they ride great!

Yeah they do ride smooth most of the time, but I guess these bumpy stl roads dont help. Maybe some spring cushing from autozone may help with the more bumpy ones. not really wanting to make it higher.
