CV axle problem?? help!
I've been having this vibration problem the past two months that's getting worse little by little. It has 81K and at about 75K miles I have replaced all struts, end links, both tie rods and the front drivers side hub with new tires.
The problem is that at 30 to 65 mph I have a vibration coming from the drivers side. My steering wheel doesn't shake at all. It feels like I'm driving down a bumpy road even on newly paved roads. I've had the wheels balanced twice and rotated.
Could this be a bad cv axle? The boot looks good, nothing is torn. I have read some members have replaced their cv axles and fixed their vibration problem? I just don't want to go replacing things that might not do anything to fix this.
Any help??

CV joint seems like an odd item to cause that. I'd suspect a bad strut or coil spring. I have heard of new struts bad out of box.... Could be a wheel out of balance or a bad alignment....
I just don't see a CV joint causing a "bumpy" feel. OH!! Another thing to check, look at your control arm bushings (there should be a vertical and a horizontal one where the control arm bolts to the sub-frame). The vertical one may have worn or popped out of the control arm. That can cause all kinds of whacky road feelings.

I'm willing to bet when you find it, you'll have a "ah ha" moment and wonder why you did not see it before....
Best of luck, I hope you can find it and it's quick/easy to get done.

you have any pulseing in the brake pedal when stopping?
Possibly a warped rotor... or froze caliper....(dragging)
But im leaning toward a broken axle.....
or even motor or trans mounts....
without actually being there its a little tough for me to figure out..
These are just suggestions to checkout...
