Cross thread = bad
I crossed threaded one of the lugs today when putting back on my stock wheels and it would not come off so i just had to bust it off with a ratchet.
so please tell me that this is an easy fix that i can just go to advance on monday a get new studs to put in because i really dont whant to spend money right know because i am saving for the dhp tuner and laptop
my car is an 2000 ss and i crossed threaded one on the drivers side rear wheel
also i heard one time that you can still drive with only 4 lugs on is this true

They are not to bad to replace.
You will have to remove the brake caliper and pads.
The remove the rotor,
Take a punch and knock out the old stud
To install,
Push in the new stud, take a regular lug nut, flip it over so the flat side will be against the hub when you put it on the stud
Tighten it up to pull the stud in the hub
Take off the regular lug nut,
Install the rotor
Install pads and caliper
Install rim and wheel
Yes you can run with 4 lugs but I am a fan that if 5 of them are to be on then that is what should be there

Thats nice to know it kind of happened at a good time because my car is going in to get painted were i get hit by two eggs ( I hate people that do stuff like that) so it will be in a shop for the next 4 or 5 days. then i will replace the broken stud
