Default Crown Victoria and Monte Carlo Same cross members?

i jus heard that a crossmember out of a 96 or 97 crown victoria will fit on a g-body monte carlo..jus wondering becuz the crwn vics cross member is double hump which im looking for...are they the same?

ford and chevy making interchangeable parts? ive never seen it and its a possibility im wrong but they normally fight and i doubt they played nice even this once...

With all the retired crown vic police interceptors out there, there's certainly no shortage of supply.

Sure would be strange if they did interchange. Call a salvage yard. They're usually up to date on things that cross over.

I was wondering about a trans cross member from a Chevelle? The one laying the ground at the swap meet last friday sure looked like the one under my '86 LS. Of course I didn't see them laying side by side so I could be mistaken?
