The thing is, Goodyear actually warrants the mileage on a Monte Carlo with the Eagle GTs, they are supposedly the best goodyear tire you can use on the car.
Hopefully with the invoice and proof of mileage my Dad can get a new set prorated from Goodyear.
But I know what tire I'm skipping this year on my set of 18s

See this thread I replied on last year... https://montecarloforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=20153
Goodyear car tires are pure junk. Will never buy another set till they revamp the whole process. Just another reason I would like to see NASCAR get away from them as well. The racing would surly improve.

I ran mine for a couple months. One day while sitting in the center dual turn lane, I tried to pull out in front of a huge line of traffic coming. I had more than enough time to make it out. Mashed the pedal and spun all the way through first and a large chunk of second on completely dry and warm pavement. I only barely made it out but after that I knew it was time for a change.

Well i'm glad i decided not to get them after reading is thread and i'm extremely happy with my dunlop fierce instinct ZRs even though i never inteded to drive this car in the snow and slop unforseen circumstances forced my hand and i had to drive it as a dd in the winter :-( but these tires were absolutely amzing even on roads covered in snow i was able to drive wih confidence even when i shut off the traction control

I got a good deal on Michelin hydroedge 235 60 16 s for 01 SS. I would say they are great tires in the rain and light snow. Supposed to last well past 70 k miles. I probably will never get the GT II. They are overrated and cannot deliver the performance they claim. Appreciate the feedback. My first gen monte have BF Goodrich Radial TAs. They are supposed to get 40 k miles.
