Clanging Noise from Rear 95 MC
This is a problem I am having with my 95 Z34 (my winter car/ twice a week in summer driver)
I hope this makes sense but I have recently started hearing a clanging hollow type noise which sounds like it is coming from the trunk of the car which is empty. When my front wheels go over a small bump in the road I usually don't hear it until the back set of tires go over the same bump. This car has 140 000 miles on it and the shocks/struts/ original suspension has never been changed. The only thing I know that has been done was two front ball joints.
Any clue what this sound could be? If its a cheap fix I may consider but if not, I can live with it.
Thanks!

Suspension parts have bushings in them so you don't have metal hitting metal. I'm going to guess one of those bushings is now gone and you hear parts hitting each other.
Depending on where, this could be very severe. I would just jack the car up and see if you can find the loose part, or take it somewhere. Metal on Metal can crack pieces and you don't want that at all.
