can i use 225/55/16

Default can i use 225/55/16

stock tire size is 225/60/16 and someone saidi should be able to use 225/55/16 winter tires cuz i might be able to get a a set for cheap any thoughts?

The 55s will be almost an inch shorter but they will be the same width. Your speedometer would be off 3.3% but they would work.

They would work, but like Matt said your speedo will be off, along with your odometer, you will essentially be putting "extra" miles on your car...

Plus they will look weird on your car IMO...to small!

thats a helpful link but i decided not to go with them i only have to decide if i should get winter tires or just all seasons because they will be only on for winter but theres usually only a few days of driving in the snow

Try to get a 235/55-16 instead
