Default Brakes "Groan"

I have only the passenger side brakes done on the Deuce. I had to turn her around in the garage to be able to acces the driver side brakes. Driving down the drive into the street to turn her around and back into the grarage, I heard a "Groan" and felt a slight shutter when braking lightly at a very low speed.

1) Will this go away when I complete the brake job (the driverside brakes)?

2) Will this enventually go away on it's own once I follow the rotor manufacter's break in procedure?

I did lube the brake slide rails and slide pins with brake lube

I have read where lubing the side of the brake pads next to the caliper piston may help (hate to take the assmbley apart again)

I double checked the new brakes installed with those old ones still on the car the new brakes looked like they fit ok and the rotors where not scarred after braking

Any thoughts????

Happened during reverse, or both ways?

I would call it normal unless you keep hearing it after driving for a couple trips.

Both ways actually Chibi. I am hoping they just need to be broken in.
I mean I only have 100 feet on the new brakes on the passenger side.

After the pads have been seated the groan should go away.

Thanks every one! A load off my mind. I got the driverside front done tonight. just have the drvierside rear to do tomorrow night then the brakes are done. The reason it is taking so long I am cleaning the wheel wells out really good and painting them satin black as I go.

I got a "love bite" from the Deuce tonight.... (wrench slipped and knuckles hit the concrete floor)

lately I have been using a rubber mallet to break stuck bolts loose. I just put the wrench on and whack it s few times. it really saves the knuckles. As others have said a few miles and all the noises should go away.
