yes they will work on the monte. you will need anti-pogo too. how many miles on your mc? if it' over 60k i would be thinking about picking up some struts too. i have ssc springs and i like how mine handle. ssc drop almost about stock height. my mc have about 42k and i still riding on stock struts. it's ok right now but probably be replacing them next spring.

i have 55k on my monte, and the suspension is making wierd noises now. sounds like a rust problem to me. anyways, im going to replace the strut plates, springs, and struts soon. i want the b and g springs because it only drops slightly over an inch. i dont want it any lower really. its time for a strut change anyways. i live in s.f. and the weather in the morning is almost always foggy and wet. rust sucks. its a pain to keep my car clean too!

i was just looking around on ebay, and came across this auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-G...Q5fAccessories

I've heard of voltgland springs and have looked into getting them before for my mc. anybody have any reviews of them or know if they work well with our cars?

If so, this is a pretty sweet deal! $375 for struts and springs is great, if they are good springs.

My best experiences with lowering springs have been with Eibach springs. Eibach puts an incredible amount ofresearch and development into their products. I wish Eibach would speed up the release of their Pro Kit spring package for 06-07 Monte V8's!!!

I have a set of vogtland springson my monte. At the same time i also replaced the struts that had about 100,000 with KYB GR2. I think it's lowered mine about an 1.5" all the way around. Definently made a difference in the ride.
