Default 2006 Rims on 2000 SS

Okay, I know I know these questions are being answered all the time, but I just found something on gmpartsdirect.com and I was wondering. Originally I was looking at the Cobra Z wheels for my Monte. Then I saw these for the 2006 Monte SS. I really really like them, and they are not expensive at all.

Anyway, the website really doesn't tell me much about this rim, except that it should only be used on an 06-07 Monte SS or Impala SS.

Does anyone have any information on these wheels? I'm curious as to how they would be on my 2000 SS.

Here is the information that I know so far:
GM PART # 17801220
CATEGORY: Wheels
PACK QTY: 4
CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $487.14
OUR PRICE: $354.64

18" WL219, Chrome 5 "V" Spoke Design (Sold as set of 4)

The 18" Accessory Wheel is applicable on Monte Carlo SS and Impala SS models w/ 18" factory wheels only. The approved tire for the 18" GM Accessory Wheel application is the Goodyear Eagle RSA P235/50R18 97W AL3.

I'd say they fit, last I heard all 00-07 Montes had the same bolt pattern and offsets.

I've seen them on a few Montes along with the other optional wheels that were a dual five-spoke design with thin spokes, both look pretty sweet.

they will fit, but DO NOT get a 235/50 tire go with a 235/45 tire.or you will rub on your rear strut plate.

I'm running 235-50-18's and have no rubbing. I'm guessing the 245's would rub.

Yeah, the 50's shouldn't rub at all. Might be your backspacing causing the problem there. Those wheels will fit any 6th gen car.

what is backspacing?i dont know i got the 06 ss wheels 235/50/18 tire and they fit good on the front but rubed bad on the back.i put them on sit the car down off the jack and the plate would sit right on the tire.
i asked everybody and they said that was the suggested tire size for 18's and oddly i had a set of lexani's 18's with that tire and it fit so i have no idea[sm=smiley24.gif]

I just wanted to let you know. The price you have there is actually the price for only one wheel. When you add it to the cart it automatically calculates for 4 wheels and the total is $1,716. Which is out rageous for wheels. You may want to call about them if you are seriously considering those wheels. I like them a lot too, but not for that price.
