2003 SS w/ funny rotors?
Just bought my 2003 Monte Carlo SS. The car has bad vibrations at certain speeds, but not during braking. Pulled off one of the back wheels and noticed the lug studs were bent, and the lug stud holes in the rotor are warped- couldn't hardly pull off the rotor... Seemed that the bearing was bad so changed it and bought new rotor. Lug stud holes on new rotor seem to be to large to fit snuggly over the studs? Pulled off other back tire to compare, and found same thing? Does it have anything to do with ABS- gaps between studs and stud holes in rotor???? Changed lots and lots of brakes, and never seen anything like it. Afraid to run these rotors on the car in case it causes more vibrations / damage to the bearings and lug studs? Any advice plz?
