Post 02 monte ss sway bar identification anyone

ok here we go I am currently trying to upgrade my suspension on my 02 monte ss. as far as i know I have the sport suspension which came standard with all ss for 02. my question is what size is the actual sway bar? for 02 ss I think its 32mm? I looked inside my rear decklid and i found RPO FE3 also and if this is true i want to get the GMPP 34 mm upgrade kit with the 19mm rear and tubular trailing arms. I tried identifying the actual part number for the sway bar thats on there now it is 25861193 and the 34mm GMPP number is 12498642. anyone? just trying to confirm what I need.

Im not sure about the sway bars, but I was going to upgrade also to the 34 mm on my 00'. I already have the trailing arms on and let me say that they are def worth the up grade! You will tell the difference and laugh at GM for putting the U shaped stamped ones on in the first place! Hope this kinda helps!

Thank you for your input. I found a master rpo code sheet from GM that covers what i believe all monte carlo years. I do indeed have the sport suspension FE3 but my thing is I cant quite determine the actual sway bar sizes hat came on the sport fe3 package. I even have a machinist set of calipers and measured myself but the bar is shaped in a way thats hard to get a acurate reading but from what I can determine its 32mm.

I was looking around and found this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-06...item45edaa701b

Rear Anti Sway Bar
.875" Diameter Solid Bar

I'm also thinking about replacing it but I'm not sure what to get.
