10 years ago on this day a guy from Buffalo, NY met with me in Erie, PA and I bought and brought home a blue and silver 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo with 52K miles. I never knew the impact this event was going to have for me over the coming years.
Since I bought it, it has never been driven in winter snow and has approximately 87K miles on it. Because of this car, I have done some car related mods I never thought I would do, gone to some fun events I never thought of going to and best of all, met a lot of great people!
Originally bought to eventually replace my '94 Grand Am and that Grand Am lasted longer than I expected and this Monte became something I did not want to see destroyed with winter beating on it.
Attached are some pics from the day it came home to present.
That's pretty kool to have those historical shots, I don't think I can do that with all the Photo's of stuff I take when I fist got mine I failed to do that, but I will have to look.
Most of my stuff was related to the look a like shows that I did. But I was always blessed with someone elses car in that.

I just noticed that my MCForum 10 year anniversary happened earlier this month and I forgot to celebrate. I got a new little badge thingy! Remarkably, my forum join date was 8/8/08. I didn't plan that

Thanks everyone! I just found this to be a neat milestone.
Talking about join dates, I did not join here until about 2 years AFTER I bought my Monte. It was not until 1-2 years after I bought it I began looking for advice. And I spent more time on an Impala forum, primarily because back then MCF.com was super slow for me to access and the Impala forum wasn't slow and I was getting my answers. Chibi was also on there and pushed me to go where Monte owners belong lol. Been a good time!
