The judges awarded me this pretty cool trophy. I just knew some older Chevy was going to pull the win, but hey I will take it. Chris and I went to find the judges and I thanked them for finding my Monte award worthy over the others Chevys at the event. They said some people can go buy a new car and bring it in to a car show (Vette's, Camaro's) and try to buy a win, yet they were looking for someone who works on their car to make it show worthy. And my 13 year old car essentially earned it after seeing the attention to detail that was spent on the car. 3 judges were on their hands and knees looking at the extra clean undercarriage and I think that is what cinched the win for my Monte. I likes these judges as they were more "Import" oriented and did not fall in lockstep like domestic judges and always give the 55 Chevy, 68 Camaro the win, that gets so old. These guys were younger and they had pretty cherried out tuner cars and run with that crowd of precision custom and one off car builds. So I think that's why they had the extra keen eye for fresh one off builds. So I was tickled to be able to pull off a win with their judging standards. It as a pretty cool event for sure...

Yeah the judges are my friends and they own subaru's they love when people build their cars. Seen people convert their Honda to right side drive and win
