Arrow Pics of MistreSS from 2021

It's been a minute. Here's my ‘end of the year’ review for 2021 including some of my favorite photos.

Date taken out of storage – March 31
Miles driven – 1,187 (pretty good considering all in-state and no long hauls to any Nationals)
Longest trip – 139 miles (MMCC's fall color cruise)
Avg fuel mileage – 18.9 mpg
Date put in storage – November 13
End mileage - 99,773

Projects – None this year.

Events – I attended two meets and one cruise > MMCC’s Spring Meet (Dexter), MMCC’s Fall Meet (New Boston) and MMCC's fall color cruise (SE Michigan). I also entered four shows this year > Family Fun Fest (Hamburg), Car Capital Auto Show (Lansing), Lake Street Motorfest (South Lyon) and Great Pumpkin (Howell). Out of those four shows, the car brought home an award at each one > 1st in class (1998-Present Stock) at Hamburg, 1st in class (2000-09 Modified) at Lansing, top-25 (out of nearly 400 vehicles) at South Lyon and 2nd in class (1990-Present Stock) at Great Pumpkin. This is the first year I've received an award at every show I entered - batting 1.000 ey?

May 31 - First day out of storage

April 6 - Out for a drive

June 19 - Family Fun Fest (Hamburg)

June 21 - Out for a drive

July 24 - Car Capital Auto Show (Lansing)

September 10

September 11 - MMCC's 10th An. Fall Meet

October 2 - Great Pumpkin (Howell)

October 7

October 22 - Out for a drive

October 23 - MMCC Fall Color Cruise

November 3 - Drove to work and stopped nearby for photo ops

November 8 - Drove to work and stopped nearby for photo ops

Wow, this isa Pinnacle of what the 06/07 MC should be, a 99K MC that is brand new. I am always interested in your photos the presentation is fantastic and the ride is super clean. Outstanding!!We are fortunate to have so many Monte Carlo's that are just nice and well taken care of on this forum everyone enjoys their Monte Carlo's and I believe the folks that just look at them the JAFO"s do too.

Very cool picture's .I have one guy by me that takes tons of photos of the car shows. He even gave me a few of mine. Can't wait until next spring so I can have some with the new paint job.

Dang, your Monte looks absolutely stunning. Like the timeline presentation, nice to see how you spend time with the car. Congrats on all the wins, things may be turning around for the Montes. The interior looks factory new, engine bay extra clean actually very clean, it presents itself very well. The paint looks flawless. You do swirl removal etc. every couple of years or what is the routine to keep it looking so trick? How is your undercarriage, you have things presentable under there I imagine as I see a mirror positioned under the rear end.

I wish I did something with mine, it just sits, sad... Just unregistered it, removed insurance a month ago, weather changing, parked again.

Thanks guys. Greg, lots of time, effort and care has gone into keeping it like this but it's totally worth it. I try to do a 3-step wax every other year however the past two years I did it - 2019 in prep for Monte Nationals and 2020 for Chevy Nationals. And of course I have undercarriage shots...

You have a spectacular undercarriage, see why you put out the mirrors. Thats area is so often neglected, almost always I should say. I consider mine pretty squared away, but yours puts anyone I have ever seen in a much lower league than yours. Wow, that shows incredibly well, what care and effort that took and takes is telling. Once you get it there it is simpler to maintain that condition if you stay out of mud holes. I do mine about every 3 years. Like you, put it up on jack stands, remove wheels and spend about 4 hours a day for 3 days under it. I can see how your Monte is in the Gold Class, every aspect of it has been attended to, nicest one here on the forum imo. Not the baddest, the nicest. Would like to see it in person one day. Really would like to try and attend one of your 2022 meets this year. Congrats, you earned every one of them.

Thanks Greg! If you do plan to head out here in 2022, let me know. I give you a lot of credit for even talking about that considering how far away you are. I have a hard enough time getting people who live 30+ minutes away to be involved

It's tough to run an event and get everyone to commit. I'm happy to have made many of your events. Nice people and nice cars! Not sure what 2022 has in store for me.
