Looking for an answer: I’m putting new struts on my 07 Monte Carlo SS with 235/50/18 tires and FE4 suspension. I’ve used Bilsteins on other cars and was planning using them on this one but see they’ve been discontinued for some time now. So I installed OE ACDelco 506-282 struts on the rear, but haven’t bought the front ones yet. Then I run into Bilstein 505-548 front struts for 07 Grand Prix GXP with same FE4 suspension. Amazon says the Bilstein 505-548 won’t fit 07 Monte SS, but the discontinued Bilstein 35-153375 for the 07 Monte SS will fit the 07 Grand Prix GXP too (see attached pics). By this logic the Bilstein 505-548 should fit the 07 Monte SS too, right?? If they will, I’m getting them. Also I found someone says they swapped Bilstein FE4 struts from an 07 Grand Prix GXP to an 07 Monte SS ( see pic attached). Any help would be great, thanks!!
