How-To: Fourth Gen. Monte Carlo SS Rear Spoiler Installation w/ Pictures
[PLACE HOLDER THREAD]
Since through the years, I have written a few guides for forums. Here's my contribution:
Synopsis:
This Guide/Walk-Through will show the step-by-step process of installing a Monte Carlo SS Rear Spoiler onto forth gen. CL and SS cars.
Tools Required:
SS
10mm (inner 4) and 7/16 (outer 2) socket.
Electric/Air Ratchet (find one borrow one, will make it 300% easier)
CL>>SS
Hole Saw (to make the stud accessible)
Drill and 3/8 Drill Bit (to drill the stud holes)
How-To:
As you know SS deck lids will have the accessibility for the 6 studs/nuts that hold the spoiler in place. Two are [what I call] outer. Three are inner.
[picture]
CL deck lids will possibly have all accessible holes or like mines:

These are my measurements. (Apparently the deck is some off number, because the holes/stud location are not entirely equidistant.)
(I am currently doing this now installation on my car now, just got a decent used spoiler in and thought to give a step by step for everyone. Should not take me long. I want to re-paint the spoiler flat black first and find my hole saw)
