ya seems kinda odd to me ...ive got an 03 gmc 1500 with the 5.3... n its **** against my car and my buddys gtp... ya your talkin 315 hp...but its also like at least 1500lbs hevier... he should take you a bit off the line...its atruck their built for low end tourque but thats it...by about 50 you should be gone...lol

 

Yea Thats WHAT I thought if we really Raced I WOULD win.. But my uncle Belives his truck is way quicker :P I just let him think that LOL

 

I can relate with you not wanting to spin your tires off the line. I like babying my car, especially the tires. But every now and then, when I really wanna show someone up, I'll let them burn. I still think you should have taken him down fast, I know right off the line you should have taken the lead. a 3,400lb car versus a 5,000lb truck? Plus it's the L67, torquey engine.
