Default first real test for my Monte

Well I lined up with a 95 Camaro Z28 tonight. Never raced my car ever so this was kind of just testing the waters. I followed him around just to ask what he had on for exhaust because it was really loud and sounded awesome. Well I came up to him and he simply asked right as i got to him "are we doing this?" haha. We did 3 runs from a dead stop. The first one I told him to go on 3 honks...well he didnt honk and just pointed so he had a big jump on me and had me by about a car after getting up to around 100. So we stopped and commented on each others cars and decided to go again. This time I got him to honk so it was more fair. I had him by a good 2 cars around 100 and I stayed into it for a while longer just to make sure . The last one was more of the same. I honked and hooked up really well with relatively no wheelspin at all and jumped up ahead fast and he wasn't ever really close and beat him worse than the second race. I was pretty happy with the results.

After we talked for a little bit. Said my car took him by surprise. He said he expected it to be quick just by how it sounded but never thought I would walk away from him like i did or for that matter beat him at all. Always good to hear good things from other people

So how was my first kill?

How'd you do your start? One on brake and revved it up? or just a simple take off full board?

brake and rev. hold around 2200-2500 rpm then roll into the throttle after. If I take off full board i will spin up to around 50mph

Hi Space It's been a long time. How's life? Like I said I never race usually. It was in a secluded area. I had a passenger with me but never thought to video it.
