How does your car sound. I have a friend with a 04 MCLS and wants to do what you have done. Are they Delta Flow 40's or just reg. 40's?

 

their regular 40's... the CAI helped A LOT for getting a deep growl.

From what I see, the Monte Carlo SS V8 Should(Proven by myself on numerous occassions) to beat the Mustang GT... Although this information shows the Mustang with a better quarter mile time... Puzzling... I weigh 300-lbs, 6'0".. Basically a Big'o'Fat Boy... and I whoop on the skinny Mustang Drivers all the time... So.. My Mama must have been driving the Monte Carlo SS during that time trial, because that was no... real driver!

I put my 3.9 up against my cousin's 04 v6 mustang he had the take off but after that i got him fast n took the win......

 

I've been up against a few v6 Mustangs in my 02 SSand it was close, however I almost never seem to come out on top. It's hard to get that break off the linewith anautomatic tranny.
